alias rm='rm -i'
/usr/bin/rm
[root@yang-1 ~]# which rmdir
/usr/bin/rmdir
[root@yang-1 ~]# echo $PATH
/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/root/bin
[root@yang-1 ~]# which ls
alias ls='ls --color=auto'
/usr/bin/ls
anaconda-ks.cfg
[root@yang-1 ~]# PATH=$PATH:/tmp/
[root@yang-1 ~]# echo $PATH
/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/root/bin:/tmp/
[root@yang-1 ~]# ls2
anaconda-ks.cfg
[root@yang-1 ~]# which ls2
/tmp/ls2
[root@yang-1 ~]#
[root@yang-1 ~]# echo $PATH
/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/root/bin
(PATH=$PATH:/tmp/)
[root@yang-1 ~]# vi /etc/profile
# /etc/profile
# System wide environment and startup programs, for login setup
# Functions and aliases go in /etc/bashrc
# It's NOT a good idea to change this file unless you know what you
# are doing. It's much better to create a custom.sh shell script in
# /etc/profile.d/ to make custom changes to your environment, as this
# will prevent the need for merging in future updates.
